Selling

Selling takes
three photos.

Photograph a piece and Sage reads it. See what it's worth and its environmental score, then sell it to members at your price, donate it, or keep it.

Five example pieces hanging on wooden hangers on a rail: a Theory blazer, a Zimmermann floral dress, Frame jeans, an L'Agence silk slip skirt and an Alice + Olivia pleated skirt.

Step 01 · Scan

Three photos. Nothing to write.

Photograph the front, the brand tag and the care tag. Sage reads the brand, size, fabric and condition in seconds. Nothing is shared or listed.

Step 02 · See what it's worth

Its value, and its footprint.

See what it’s worth: a value range from what comparable pieces recently sold for. Beside it, the piece’s environmental score, an estimate out of 100 of the good it can still do. Every piece you keep in use adds to your points.

Step 03 · Sell, donate or keep

Then it is your call.

Sell it to members at your price, donate it with a receipt that knows its value, or keep it and know what it’s worth. Nobody sees a piece you haven’t chosen to show.

  • Sell it

Sage writes the title and description. Pick a point in the range or set your own price.

    $85 – $120 to you

  • Donate it

Sage arranges the drop-off and gives you a receipt that already shows what the piece is worth.

    $24 – $36 on the receipt

  • Keep it

It stays unlisted in your closet, still counted in what your closet is worth.

Step 04 · Ship and get paid

Collected at your door, paid on delivery.

When it sells, a courier collects it from you and brings it to the buyer. Sage pays you once the piece is delivered.

  1. Sold

A member buys it at your price.

  2. Collected

A courier comes to you. Show a code; there is no label to print.

  3. Delivered

    Tracked to the buyer’s door.

  4. Paid

Sage pays you once it is delivered.
